The 25 Edo Tenjin (Edo Nijūgo Tenjin, 江戸二十五天神)

I have been looking more closely at the Tenman/Tenjin Jinja in Edo, and it turns out that following the 900th anniversary of Sugawara Michizane's death in 1802 a cottage industry exploring shrines dedicated to him sprang up. Including the Seven Edo Tenjin, at least seven Edo Tenjin groupings were enumerated. The most authoritative of these, because it was the last, is the Edo 25 Tenjin.  This was published in 1902 on the millennial of the master’s death in the Fūzokugahō (lit. Illustrated News Magazine of Manners and Customs). The Seven Edo Tenjin are, not unsurprisingly, all included in the 25, but I have left the listing intact for reasons of convenience.
